# Spring 2027 Athens Residency

Spring 2027 Athens Residency is a residency offered by ARCAthens (Athens, Global).

ARCAthens invites artists to apply for their Spring 2027 Athens Residency — a structured, research-driven programme built around scheduled visits, exchange, and engagement with Athens as a site of inquiry.

This is a public-facing residency that requires participants to be present in Athens for its full duration and to maintain consistent availability for scheduled programme activities. Applicants are encouraged to reflect on their interest in Athens specifically, and how the city's context might inform their practice and research directions.

To apply, you'll need to submit a CV, artist bio (up to 200 words), artist statement (up to 500 words) addressing why this residency suits your practice at this stage, and up to three work samples (images or PDF, max 10MB each) with accompanying descriptions. Work samples should present clearly defined bodies of work rather than a mix of unrelated projects.

The programme is open to artists of all nationalities. Previous applicants are welcome to reapply.
