About

Immerse yourself in Mexico City's contemporary art scene at the RONDO Residency. Choose between Live-Work or Only-Work options to develop your practice.

Located in Mexico City, RONDO offers two distinct residency options tailored to the diverse needs of artists. The Live-Work modality provides artists with the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the creative environment by residing on-site. Alternatively, the Only-Work option affords artists the same enriching programming while allowing them to arrange accommodation independently. RONDO is dedicated to fostering production and connecting artists with the local contemporary scene through strategic partners, including Clavo Art Fair, El Paint Lab, Plomo Gallery, and Galería Unión. The Program (4 or 6 Weeks): The program revolves around four key pillars: Production, Theoretical, Art Market, and Public Relations. We organize a specific agenda for each axis every week, leaving ample time for artists to focus on their production. (Working languages are English and Spanish). Studios and Accommodations: The residency hosts up to 6 artists at a time (four on Live-Work, two on Only-Work) and caters to a range of disciplines, including Visual Arts, Sculpture, Performing Arts, Textile Art, New Media, Curatorial, and Photography.
