Fish Factory Creative Centre Residency 2025–2026

The Fish Factory Creative Centre offers a rolling, multidisciplinary residency in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. The program is open to international artists of all disciplines, providing dedicated time and space to develop work. What's Provided: Private bedroom in shared artist housing. 24/7 access to shared workshops and facilities. Basic amenities including Wi-Fi, towels, bed linen, cleaning products, and laundry soap. Airport pickup and drop-off on designated days from Egilsstaðir Airport. Residency Fees & Artist Responsibilities: Artists are responsible for their own meals, travel, art supplies, and personal expenses. 2025 Fee: 150,000 ISK (approx. $2,040 NZD) per period. 2026 Fee: 160,000 ISK (approx. $2,175 NZD) per period. Short Residencies (Jan & Dec): 120,000 ISK (approx. $1,630 NZD). Note: Studio Silo access is not included and can be booked separately for an additional fee. Payment Details & Policies: Confirmation Fee: A non-refundable 50,000 ISK (approx. $680 NZD) deposit is due within 7 days of acceptance (deducted from the total fee). Final Fee: Due 12 weeks before arrival. Rescheduling is allowed once, up to one year from the original booking. Cancellations made more than 60 days in advance are eligible for a 50% refund (excluding the confirmation fee).
