The search for the 2026 Photographer of the Year is on. Submit your best shots of African wildlife, landscapes, and culture. Includes weekly galleries, a prestigious finalist shortlist, and a grand prize announcement in June. Open for entries from 16 February to 7 May 2026.
In association with African Parks and Ukuri, the 2026 Photographer of the Year competition seeks to showcase a "Celebration of Africa." The contest is strictly limited to entries featuring African wildlife, landscapes, and culture. The selection process begins with a "Weekly Selection" of top submissions published throughout the entry period. Once the deadline passes, judges narrow these qualifiers down to a list of finalists, from which the overall winner, two runners-up, and highly commended photographers are chosen.
