Artist-in-Residence (AIR) 2026-2027

The LFC Artist-in-Residence program invites a professional artist to develop an original, collective project in collaboration with students (Pre-K to Grade 12), teachers, and parents. While all disciplines are welcome—including visual arts, digital arts, and performing arts—the 2026-2027 cycle specifically seeks artists exploring textile/fiber arts or ceramics. The project must be inclusive of the entire school community and culminates in a public exhibition, with the final work becoming part of the school’s collection. Technical Requirements: Eligibility: Professional artists proficient in French and/or English. Selection Criteria: Emphasis on projects that involve the most students/grade levels. Expectations: Collaboration with the pedagogical team; completion within the school year; clearance of a background check. Duration: 4 to 12 weeks.
