About
Quick turnaround funding for regional Western Australian artists and organisations to undertake professional development or short-notice small projects.
The RAF Quick Response Grants assist regional artists, arts organisations, and communities to take up professional or skills development opportunities, or respond to small project opportunities that arise at short notice. The program offers monthly rounds from February to November. (Note: Activity applied for must generally commence within 2 to 12 weeks of the closing date of the round). Funding Details: Individuals: Can apply for up to $3,000. Organisations: Can apply for up to $5,000. Funds are targeted towards professional development opportunities, small creative activities and projects, and urgent opportunities that cannot wait for regular funding rounds. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must live in postcodes classified as regional using the Modified Monash Model Map (Classification 2 or above). Must be an individual, an Australian incorporated organisation, or a local government organisation. Must hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN) registered to the applicant's name and regional location. Unincorporated organisations and individuals under 18 must be auspiced by an eligible entity or person over 18. Schools are only eligible to apply if located in a very remote area (MM 7). Ineligible: For-profit companies, or anyone with outstanding reports/acquittals relating to Australian Government or Regional Program Administrator funding.
