International open call for artists of all mediums to exhibit at Medina Roma Gallery in the heart of Rome. Open theme, students and emerging artists welcome.

Art Number 23 invites local and international artists, curators, and art enthusiasts to be part of the Rome Open Art Festival. The exhibition will take place at Medina Roma Gallery, a busy space with large front windows located in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of the Colosseum. The theme of the show is entirely open. Artists can select their strongest artworks in any style (abstract, figurative, nudes, portraiture, still life, minimal, etc.). Guidelines & Artist Support: Remote Participation: Artists are not required to be present at the show; you may simply post your work to the gallery. Installation: The gallery team is responsible for every aspect of the show, including the installation of artworks. Promotion: All participants will be included in a promotional campaign across social media and newsletters. Participants will also receive images and videos of their work on display from the opening event. Exhibition Schedule: Sept 11: Exhibition opening (18:00 – 20:00) Sept 12 & 13: Art Exhibition, Live Painting, Performances (16:00 – 20:00) Sept 14 – 17: Public viewing (10:00 – 13:00 and 15:00 – 19:00) How to Apply: There is no deadline. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. Please include: Your name as you want it displayed in publications. 1-4 images of your work (JPEG format preferred). Artwork details (title, size, medium, and price). If unsure about price or exact dimensions, provide an estimate or leave blank for advice. (Optional) Your website and social media accounts. Specific Medium Requirements: Video Artists: Provide online links (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) or attach video stills, along with titles and duration. Videos will be displayed on a screen with headsets. Performance Artists: Provide a detailed description of your piece and any specific requirements. Videos or stills can be included.
