Billboard Project – Street-Front Gallery for Artists

MoveSpace has created a street-front public gallery on Dominion Road in Mt Eden, Auckland — five large framed billboard spaces lining a high-traffic wall, each one dedicated to art, poetry, and creative expression from local makers.

This is not advertising space. It's a community-powered rotating gallery designed to reclaim public walls for culture, creativity, and connection. Whether you're a painter, photographer, poet, designer, or just someone with something to say, you're welcome to apply.

The space is offered free of charge to artists — you just need to organise your own printing and installation. Billboards are Double A0 size (120cm x 180cm full billboard; 111.5cm x 171.5cm inside the frame). MoveSpace has partnered with the Auckland Central Community Shed to build the frames, and with local printers to keep participation as affordable as possible.
