Bowery Gallery 35th Annual Art Competition

Bowery Gallery invites artists to submit work for its 35th annual summer exhibition in Chelsea. Juried by figurative painter Susan Lichtman, the call is open to two-dimensional wall-hung works including painting, drawing, printmaking, pastel, and mixed media. The gallery focuses on traditional and contemporary approaches to these media; sculpture, photography, and digital art are strictly ineligible. Selected works will be showcased in a three-week exhibition at the Landmark Arts Building. Technical Requirements: Medium: Painting, drawing, printmaking, pastel, and mixed media only. Format: Must be wall-hung (on nail/hook). Size: Maximum 36 inches in any dimension (including frame). Quantity: 1–3 images included in base fee; maximum 6 images total. Files: JPG, minimum 1000px width/height, maximum 3MB. Eligibility: Open to US and International artists. Currently enrolled students are ineligible.
