Call for Proposals: Expression of Interest

Creative Puketapapa is inviting expressions of interest from local artists, creative groups, and community-led organisations based in or connected to the Puketapapa Local Board area — covering Three Kings, Mt Roskill, Hillsborough, Waikowhai, Lynfield, and Wesley.

This isn't just a funding round. Depending on your idea, Creative Puketapapa can support you in a range of ways: financial support, help developing your concept, connecting you with spaces, people or partners, and practical advice on delivery and promotion. Not every project will receive funding, but strong ideas will be supported in whatever way makes most sense.

Projects can span any arts discipline — visual art, dance, theatre, music, film, kapa haka, weaving, poetry, and more. They can be workshops, wānanga, cultural events, exhibitions, or festivals — at any stage of development.

Creative Puketapapa is particularly keen on projects that

• Are led by people from the Puketapapa local area
• Involve and connect local communities
• Reflect the cultural richness and diversity of the area, especially mana whenua and migrant communities
• Tell the stories of the local environment and community
• Have a strong creative idea at their heart
