Changing Threads | Contemporary Textile Fibre Art Awards

Changing Threads is Aotearoa’s prestigious showcase for contemporary fibre and textile art, held annually at the Refinery Artspace in Nelson. Now in its 16th year, the awards challenge traditional perceptions of the medium by embracing conceptual, unconventional, and boundary-pushing works. The exhibition is open to all artists living in New Zealand and attracts high-calibre practitioners working with natural or synthetic fibres.
