About
International open-call exhibition at the Chianciano Art Museum and 13 historic galleries in Tuscany, with cash prizes and pathway to London Art Biennale 2027.
The Chianciano Biennale 2026 invites artists from around the world to submit work for its international exhibition, running 15–29 August 2026 in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Around 200 artists will be selected by a professional jury to exhibit across the Chianciano Art Museum and 13 historic Clancianum Galleries, where contemporary art sits in striking contrast with the town's medieval architecture.
The Biennale is genuinely open — there are no eligibility restrictions based on career stage, nationality, or discipline. All living artists are welcome to apply, and selection is based entirely on the quality of the work itself. Accepted disciplines include painting, sculpture, installation, digital, photography, works on paper, and more.

This is a strong opportunity for artists seeking international exposure, with a clear pathway to further recognition through the sister London Art Biennale 2027.
