International Youth Art Competition and Showcase 2027

CICA Museum invites young artists aged 13 to 19 from around the world to submit work for the International Youth Art Competition and Showcase 2027. Selected artists will have their work exhibited in a group show at CICA Museum from 24 February to 14 March 2027 (dates subject to change), and will receive a digital certificate of participation.

Three categories are open for submission

• Photographs & 2D Digital Art – Selected works will be printed and framed by museum staff at 10×15 or 10×10 inches (larger sizes available on request, additional fees may apply).
• Video & Interactive Art – The museum provides projectors and DVD/DIVX players. Single-channel works may be screened together; exclusive or multi-projector setups may incur additional fees.
• Painting, Sculpture & Installation Art – Artists are responsible for shipping and return costs. 2D works must not exceed 1 metre on the longest side; installations must not exceed 1×1×2 m; wall-mounted works must not exceed 10 kg.

How to apply: Email up to 5 JPG images and/or up to 3 video links, along with a short bio, to submission@cicamuseum.com. Use the subject line: "Submission: International Youth Art – [Category] – [Artist's Name]". Each artist may submit up to 5 works.

If selected, artists must pay $78 USD (or 110,000 KRW) per accepted work to cover exhibition processing and maintenance costs. Artists under 18 must also submit a completed Parent/Guardian Consent Form. Proof of age will be required upon acceptance.
