Dora Maar House Residency Fellowships

Located in an 18th-century stone residence once home to Dora Maar, this fellowship offers a retreat for outstanding mid-career professionals in the arts, humanities, and sciences. Residents spend one to two months in the village of Ménerbes, focusing entirely on their creative or scholarly work. The house features private rooms and bathrooms with shared communal spaces, including a library, two gardens, and specialized studios or offices. The program is highly interdisciplinary, accepting practitioners in visual arts, literature, performance, film, and academic research. Fellows receive a travel award and are expected to engage with the local community through a salon, presentation, or donation of work.
