Ibrida Festival is calling for submissions to its 2026 edition, themed around 'Hyper Reality' — exploring the blurring boundary where physical perception and digital augmentation merge into an expanded dimension. Directed by Francesca Leoni and Davide Mastrangelo under the Vertov Project, Ibrida is a festival dedicated to cutting-edge intermedia arts, showcasing work at the intersection of video art, experimental cinema, live performance, electronic sound, XR environments, and AI-driven moving images.
Artists from all countries are welcome to submit up to three works made no earlier than 2024. Works can span categories including Video Art, Experimental Short Film, AI Video, Live Cinema / AV Performance, XR/VR/AR, and Installation.
