The Arts House Trust
Annual art prize open to Year 11–13 students nationwide, with finalists exhibited at Pah Homestead in Auckland and prizes totalling $6,500 NZD.
Now in its 14th consecutive year, the National Secondary School Art Awards celebrate the imagination, skill, and creativity of young artists across Aotearoa New Zealand. Open to Year 11, 12, and 13 students from secondary schools nationwide, this is a fantastic opportunity to have your work seen, celebrated, and exhibited at the historic Pah Homestead in Hillsborough, Auckland.
Students submit a digital entry of one artwork in any of the following mediums: painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, moving image, digital art, ceramics, sculpture, or soft materials. Shortlisted finalists are then invited to send or deliver their physical work to The Arts House Trust gallery, where winners are chosen by the Trust's curatorial team and a guest judge.
