Pro/Fuse: An Exploration of Encaustic & Wax

Woman Made Gallery is seeking submissions from women and non-binary artists for an exhibition focused on encaustic materials and techniques. Works must incorporate hot wax methods, specifically the heating and fusing of layers using tools such as torches or heat. Submissions may be 2-D or 3-D, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and assemblage. Open internationally. All work must be original and created without the primary use of AI image-generation tools. Artworks previously exhibited at Woman Made Gallery are ineligible. Technical Requirements: Medium: Encaustic (beeswax, damar resin, pigment) or works featuring wax. Quantity: Maximum 2 entries (1–3 images total). File Format: JPG or PNG, maximum 3MB per image. Size/Weight: Maximum 6 feet in horizontal dimension; maximum 75 lbs (unless artist handles delivery/pickup). Installation: Must be received ready to exhibit.
