RHA Ashford Gallery 2027 Exhibition Programme

The Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts (RHA) invites artists to submit proposals for its Ashford Gallery 2027 Exhibition Programme. Selected artists will be given a 4-week exhibition slot running from January through Autumn 2027 in the Ashford Gallery at 15 Ely Place, Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for artists without commercial representation on the island of Ireland to exhibit in one of Ireland's most respected art institutions. The RHA provides transport for artwork delivery and return within the island of Ireland, along with hands-on support from their technical team during installation and de-installation. The RHA Curator is also available to help you plan your exhibition layout.

Please note: there is no artist fee or production fee provided, and the RHA retains a 35% commission on all sales. At least 90% of exhibited works must be available for sale.

Eligibility:

• Artists must NOT have commercial representation on the island of Ireland
• Artists must NOT have previously been included in RHA Ashford Gallery exhibition programmes
• At least 90% of exhibited work must be available for sale
• Only one application per artist is permitted
• Proposals cannot be changed after submission

How to Apply:

Applications must be submitted by email only to apply@rhagallery.ie. The subject line must read exactly: ASHFORD SUBMISSION – [ARTIST NAME]

Submit a single PDF under 6MB (horizontally formatted, no cover or end pages) containing:

• Artist statement (max. 100 words)
• Exhibition proposal (max. 600 words) plus a list of any specialised equipment required
• Up to 8 images and/or video links (videos count toward the 8-image limit)
• CV
• Indicative price list (full sale prices before commission)

Key Dates:

• Application deadline: 27 April 2026 at midnight
• Notification of results: Mid-June 2026
• Exhibition slots: January – Autumn 2027
