About

Routes & Roots: Woman Made Gallery virtual show on migration. Women & non-binary artists. Chicago/Global.

Woman Made Gallery invites women and non-binary artists to submit work for a virtual exhibition exploring the complexities of immigration and migration. "Routes" focuses on movement—border crossings, flight paths, and digital connections—while "Roots" examines identity through family, language, memory, and land. The exhibition seeks work reflecting on diaspora, refuge, resettlement, and cultural hybridity. All work must be original and created without the primary use of AI image-generation tools. Artists must address the theme in their work and include a brief artist statement. Technical Requirements: Medium: Visual and time-based media accepted (JPG, PNG, MOV, MP4). Quantity: Maximum 2 entries (1–3 files total). File Size: Maximum 3MB per image. Format: Virtual-only; no physical size or weight restrictions.
