About

Open call for temporary site-specific art interventions in Rumpenheim Palace Park, Germany, with prizes up to €2,000 awarded during a three-day public art event

ART.PARK RUMPENHEIM 2026 is an open call for artists to create and exhibit temporary, site-specific works in Rumpenheim Palace Park, a protected historical and ecological landscape in Offenbach am Main, Germany. Works will be on public display during the Rumpenheim Art Days from 18–20 September 2026.

The programme welcomes a wide range of outdoor artistic practices including land art, sculptural installation, light art, spatial intervention, ephemeral works, and interdisciplinary public art. All works must respond directly to the park's natural, architectural, and historical character — and must leave no lasting impact on the protected environment.

Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: €2,000 (donated by Dr. H. Mühl, Hanau)
  • 2nd Prize: €1,000
  • 3rd Prize: €500 (donated by Kunst.Ort.Rumpenheim e.V.)

Prizes are awarded on Saturday 19 September 2026 following on-site jury evaluation. Prize winners must be physically present at the award ceremony.
