About

Examine what lies beneath. SUB(SCAPE) invites art exploring hidden systems, buried histories, and the invisible forces that sustain our world.

SUB(SCAPE) is an exhibition that challenges artists to look beyond the surface and examine the hidden systems—structural, psychological, geological, or social—that underpin our visible world. From the physical infrastructures of cities and forests to the emotional currents and buried histories that shape human experience, the showcase focuses on the "unseen" frameworks that prevent collapse or cause destabilisation. This exhibition runs alongside LAND(SCAPE), creating a dialogue between the Earth’s surface and its literal or metaphorical depths. Artists are invited to submit works exploring literal depth, unseen labor, invisible forces, or private motivations.
