About
An Annual National Youth Prize for an A4 painting on paper inspired by the Australian landscape for artists aged 5-18 years.
The Young Paddo Art Prize is the premier national youth companion to the prestigious Paddington Art Prize. This is a call-to-action for young creatives (ages 5–18) to interpret the Australian Landscape through the medium of paint.
Unlike many digital-heavy youth awards, this prize celebrates traditional materiality, requiring an A4 painting on paper. It offers young artists a rare opportunity to have their work professionally framed, exhibited at Council House in Woollahra, and judged alongside their peers on a national stage.
