The Anthology Short Story Competition is an annual international competition celebrating original short fiction. Open to writers of any nationality, anywhere in the world, with no restrictions on theme or style — so bring your own voice and vision.
Stories must be original, previously unpublished, and written in English, with a maximum of 1,500 words. You can enter as many stories as you like, with each submission requiring its own entry form and fee. Generative AI is not permitted.

Entry fee: €18 (standard fee, February 1 – July 31 2026). Group rates available — contact admin@anthology-magazine.com.
Entries are judged anonymously on literary merit, originality, and readability. Results are announced in early 2027. The author retains copyright, but Anthology reserves the right to first publication of the winning story.
Before submitting, it's worth reading a copy of Anthology to get a feel for the kind of work they publish — digital editions are available via their online shop.
