Casual role delivering art-based learning programmes for school and community groups at Auckland Art Gallery and through outreach.
Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is looking for a passionate Learning Facilitator to join their Akoranga | Learning team on a casual basis.
In this role, you'll deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences for groups of all ages — from early childhood through to tertiary level — both onsite at the Gallery and through outreach to kura, schools, and alternative education settings. You'll also support informal learning in the Creative Learning Centre, Kids & Whānau activities, and paid school holiday programmes.
Learning programmes are developed by the Senior Manager, Schools and Learning and Learning Specialists, and are grounded in evidence-based best practice, curriculum knowledge, and the needs of visiting groups. You'll bring these to life with energy, cultural awareness, and a genuine love of art and art history.
The role is rostered Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work available for events and outreach.
