About
Global illustration and animation competition exploring climate change themes, open to creators aged 18+ worldwide, with prizes up to €2,000.
The Art on Climate International Illustration Competition invites illustrators and animators from around the world to explore the theme of climate change through original creative work.
Organised by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors, this global competition has grown from a regional Spanish initiative in 2019 into a major international platform, receiving over 3,500 submissions from more than 2,600 creators across 100 locations in 2025.
Who can enter?
Anyone aged 18 or above as of 17 May 2026, from any location, is eligible to participate. There is no entry fee.
Themes
Participants are invited to respond to one or more of the following climate-related topics:
- Driving the Climate Transition for Resilient Communities
- Respecting Planetary Boundaries to Protect Biodiversity
- Fostering Inclusive Capitalism for a Just Transition
- Financing Innovation and Technology for Real-World Impact
- Collective Action for a Sustainable Legacy
Categories
- Illustration Category: flat colour artworks created in any medium (painting, digital, mixed media). AI-generated work and clip art are not accepted. A3 format, JPG, minimum 300 dpi, max 10MB per file.
- Animated Video Category: 10–15 second animations, 9:16 or 1:1 aspect ratio, MP4 or MOV format, max 30MB per file. No voiceovers; any text must be in English.
Each participant may submit up to three illustrations and three animated videos, but is eligible for only one prize.
Prizes — Illustration Category
- Champion: €2,000 + e-certificate
- 1st Runner-up: €1,500 + e-certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: €1,000 + e-certificate
- Merit (20 works): €150 each + e-certificate
Prizes — Animated Video Category
- Champion: €2,000 + e-certificate
- 1st Runner-up: €1,500 + e-certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: €1,000 + e-certificate
All winning works will be featured in a virtual online exhibition. Prize money is paid in Euros via bank transfer.
