Creative Henderson-Massey is a community arts initiative backed by the Henderson-Massey Local Board, designed to help local artists and creative organisations turn their ideas into reality. At the heart of the programme is an Arts Broker — a dedicated advisor who works alongside you to develop and deliver your creative project, whether it's just a spark of an idea or a well-formed plan.
The 2026 funding round is now open, supporting projects that will take place between October 2026 and June 2027. Applications close Friday 4 September 2026.
The Arts Broker can help with a wide range of needs, including:
Projects can take any creative form — dance, film, craft, visual arts, music, kapa haka, spoken word, digital arts, publications, performances, or exhibitions. You simply need to be based in the Henderson-Massey area.
