About

A global non-acquisitive art prize awarding $12,000 USD annually across 3 winners, 12 finalists exhibited online, and 200 commended artists.

The Homiens Art Prize is a globally recognised, non-acquisitive award open to artists at any career stage from anywhere in the world. Each round, three winners receive $1,000 USD each, with winners and 12 finalists featured in a prestigious online seasonal exhibition. An additional 200 artists are highly commended.

Winners are invited to take part in the artist interview series *The Art of Art: Interviews* and may request a letter of recommendation from the jurors. All selected artists are celebrated across Homiens' platforms, including a website with 100,000+ annual visitors and an extensive mailing list reaching artists and collectors worldwide.

All art forms and mediums are welcome — painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, audiovisual, and beyond. There are no theme, size, or year-of-completion restrictions. Entries are submitted digitally via Submittable (up to 3 images per artwork; video/sound works up to 30 minutes). Physical works do not need to be transported.

Artists retain full ownership of their work. Each entrant may also request a certificate of participation to support their professional practice record.

Entry fees: $30 USD for the first artwork, $20 USD for each additional entry, with the 10th entry free. An early bird rate of $30/$20 USD applies until the end of June, after which standard rates return.

Jurors: Kita Das (Director of Homiens) and Ol James, PhD.
