2026–27 Neighbourhood Arts EOI

Neighbourhood Arts is a funding programme supported by the Albert-Eden Local Board in Auckland, helping bring creative projects to life across the community. Whether you're planning a music event, a visual arts workshop, a community festival, or an exhibition, this fund is here to help make it happen.

Funding ranges from $300 for a single workshop up to $8,000 for larger, multi-artist projects. Eligible costs include artist fees, project management, materials, venue hire, and promotion.

To be eligible, your project must

• Take place within the Albert-Eden Local Board area between October 2026 and July 2027
• Be led by a local creative, community group, or arts collective
• Have a strong creative idea at its core
• Meaningfully involve the local community and demonstrate real community benefit

Priority areas for this funding round include

• Projects responding to the local environment and climate change
• Māori-led projects
• Projects that bring people and evening activity into Albert-Eden town centres
• Projects serving communities on the margins (e.g. LGBTQ+ communities, seniors, youth, new migrants)
• Whānau-friendly and intergenerational projects

Additional priority will be given to projects in areas currently underserved by arts funding: Waterview, Greenlane, Epsom, and Owairaka.
