The Waimarino Art Award is an annual celebration of art held in Raetihi, in the heart of the Ruapehu region. Open to artists from across Aotearoa New Zealand, the award features a rich range of categories that reflect the community, culture, and natural world of the area.

Some categories are open to all entrants; others are available to Ruapehu locals only.
Entry fees:
Payment is made to Raetihi Promotions Charitable Trust (02 0712 0021002 01), with your full name as the Particulars and WAA2026 as the Reference.
Works can be delivered by courier (include return postage for unsold works) or in person. Entry is at the artist's own risk — personal insurance is recommended. Artists retain ownership of their work, but grant permission for images to be used for promotional purposes.
