World Buskers Festival
Expression of Interest for street performers, circus artists, comedians, musicians and more to perform at Christchurch's World Buskers Festival in January 2027.
The World Buskers Festival is on the hunt for bold, brilliant and unforgettable performers to bring the streets, venues and public spaces of Ōtautahi Christchurch alive from 21–31 January 2027.
New Zealand's longest-running street arts festival welcomes expressions of interest from buskers, street performers, circus artists, cabaret performers, comedians, magicians, dancers, theatre makers, variety artists, musicians, and all-round makers of mischief — from Aotearoa and around the world.
Performance formats being programmed include:
Artists from all cultures, backgrounds and disciplines are encouraged to apply. The festival is particularly keen to hear from Tangata Moana artists as they continue to build a programme that reflects the unique spirit and diversity of Aotearoa.
