Artist Feature 008: Lucas Cantlon. Pōneke-based photographer, producer and director, Lucas works across documentary, live production, radio, music and photography, moving between the crew and the stage often enough that the two stop being separate positions. They have a keen eye for the vernacular, and photographs that capture the feeling of a time and place. We discussed what a performance looks like from behind the camera, what humour can say that sincerity can't, and why Wellington is far from dead.
