i just need someone to believe in me is a civic artwork for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. A single anonymous sentence appears on a pedestrian-facing digital billboard with no logos, credits, or explanation. Over the period of display, 25 limited-edition aluminium artefacts carrying the same sentence are left in the surrounding streets for the public to find and keep. Each is a numbered work, claimable via QR scan through Patronage.
