BBA Gallery
BBA Artist Prize 2027 is a prize offered by BBA Gallery (Berlin, Global). Applications close on 7 December 2026. Funding or payment: €300 – €1,000 EUR (plus exhibition opportunities). The entry fee is 49 NZD.

The BBA Artist Prize 2027 is an international open call inviting independent artists aged 18 and over to submit their work for a chance to exhibit at BBA Gallery in Berlin and win cash prizes totalling up to €1,000.
Now in its eleventh year, the prize has showcased over 300 artists from around the world. All mediums and themes are welcome — whether you work in painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, printmaking, textile, video, performance, or any other form.
How to enter:
Pay the €49 entry fee, then upload up to 5 artworks (up to 3MB each) along with your artist statement (max 300 words), CV and exhibitions list, and artwork details. You can edit your submission at any time before the 7 December 2026 deadline.
Prizes:
All entrants are eligible for the longlist and shortlist, and shortlisted artists participate in the physical group exhibition in Berlin. Works sold during the exhibition are split 50/50 between artist and gallery. Shortlisted artists cover their own shipping costs to Berlin, though the gallery provides logistics guidance and insures all works while on site.
The jury includes directors and curators from Artsy, Artnet, Kang Contemporary, Mianki Gallery, ARTBASE, and BBA Gallery itself — professionals experienced in evaluating contemporary art across all disciplines.
Beyond prize night, BBA actively connects artists with international art fairs, private collectors, and galleries, and maintains long-term relationships with many nominees and winners.
