Nocefresca
Artist residency on the island of Sardinia, Italy, set in a village surrounded by citrus groves near the Mediterranean coast.
Nocefresca invites artists to apply for its 7th edition artist residency programme, held in Milis — a charming village on the island of Sardinia, Italy, surrounded by citrus groves at the foot of the Montiferru mountain range and just 19 km from the west coast beaches.
This residency is built around a commitment to nature, rural life, and meaningful creative community. If you're looking for dedicated time and space to focus on your practice alongside fellow artists in an inspiring Mediterranean setting, this could be the opportunity for you.
42 places are available for the 2027 programme. Applications are accepted until 7 September 2026. If the deadline has passed but places remain, late applications may still be considered. Alternatively, artists can explore short-stay options through Nocefresca's sister programme, Nocefreschissima.
The residency offers housing, studios, equipment, and additional facilities and services — full details are available on the Nocefresca website.
