Auckland Council's Public Art team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of public art projects across the Auckland region. This is a meaningful role at the intersection of art, community and place — you'll help shape Auckland's cultural identity by bringing permanent and temporary artworks to life in public spaces.
Working alongside the Manager Public Art, artists, mana whenua, developers, contractors, and a range of council teams, you'll guide projects from concept through to completion. That means managing budgets, procurement, risks, contracts, and stakeholder relationships to ensure each project is delivered safely, on scope, and on programme.
You'll also support the stewardship of Auckland Council's public art collection, including renewals, maintenance and relocations.
