Full-time venue and events coordination role at the Black Box Theatre, Papa Hou, Christchurch — a busy performance and events space in the heart of the city.
The Black Box Theatre at Papa Hou is one of Christchurch's most versatile performance and event venues — and they're looking for a Theatre & Events Coordinator to keep things running smoothly.
Situated opposite the Botanic Gardens, the Black Box features a sprung hardwood floor, retractable seating for up to 240 patrons, in-house lighting and sound, large-format projection, circus rigging capability, and a fully licensed lobby. It hosts everything from theatre and dance to conferences and corporate events.
In this role, you'll be the central point of contact for hirers, performers, producers, and the hospitality team — managing the full event journey from initial enquiry through to closing night.
