The New Zealand Portrait Gallery Te Pūkenga Whakaata is looking for a Donor and Development Manager to join their Wellington team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).
This is a pivotal role for a growing organisation dedicated to telling the stories of New Zealanders through the art of portraiture. You'll work closely with the Trustees and Director to build and diversify the Gallery's income through annual giving, corporate sponsorship, public and private grants, and in-kind partnerships.
Day-to-day, you'll be managing a calendar of funding applications and reports, cultivating relationships with donors and partners, coordinating fundraising events, and keeping the Gallery's CRM database up to date.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring
Knowledge of te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, te reo Māori and tikanga Māori is desirable.
