Studio residency in New York City for performing artists in dance, music, theatre, or multimedia, offering up to 2 weeks of studio time and a $2,000 USD stipend
The Baryshnikov Arts Center Residency offers performing artists a concentrated period of studio access in New York City. Artists working in dance, music, theatre, multimedia, or any combination of these forms are welcome to apply.
Selected residents receive either one or two weeks of exclusive studio space, with up to 48 hours of studio use per week, available Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Every resident receives a $2,000 USD stipend to help offset expenses — regardless of whether they receive a one-week or two-week placement. The programme also includes professional video and photo documentation of your work, and an opportunity for an invited showing of work in progress.
Since 2005, Baryshnikov Arts Center has hosted more than 270 residencies, supporting creative investigation across the performing arts.

Please note: travel, accommodation, visa costs, and living expenses are the artist's own responsibility. The $2,000 stipend is intended to help offset expenses but does not cover these costs in full.
