Homiens
Global non-acquisitive art prize awarding $12,000 USD annually across 10 winners and up to 200 highly commended artists. All mediums welcome.
The Homiens Art Prize is a globally open, non-acquisitive prize awarded multiple times per year, with $12,000 USD distributed annually. Each round, 10 winners each receive $300 USD and are featured in Homiens' prestigious seasonal online exhibition, reaching an audience of artists and collectors worldwide. Up to 200 artists are highly commended in each round.
Winners are celebrated across Homiens' platforms — including a website with over 100,000 annual visitors — and are invited to take part in an optional interview series, *The Art of Art: Interviews*. Winners may also request a letter of recommendation from the jurors. All entrants can request a certificate of participation, useful for demonstrating professional engagement in the arts industry.
The prize is open to all artists globally, across every medium and art form — painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, audiovisual, and more. There are no theme, size, or year-of-completion restrictions. Entries are submitted digitally via Submittable (up to 3 images per artwork; video/audio works up to 30 minutes). Physical works should not be posted.
Artists retain full ownership of their work. Artist representatives may submit on behalf of artists.
Entry fees: $35 USD for the first artwork, $25 USD for each additional artwork. The 6th and 12th entries are free. You may enter as many works as you wish.
Jurors: Kita Das (Director, Homiens) and Ol James, PhD.
