A free global open call for photographers and video makers to submit bold, urgent work that resists indifference — with $12,000 USD in grants up for grabs.
PhotoVogue's Global Open Call 2026 invites photographers and video makers aged 18 and over from anywhere in the world to submit work that responds to the present moment with courage, conviction, and a distinct visual voice.
The theme — Creativity as Rebellion — is less a subject to illustrate than a position to take. At a time when images are produced and forgotten at speed, PhotoVogue is looking for work that resists that disappearance: photography, video, or multimedia projects that hold attention, make something felt, and refuse to be softened for easy consumption. This might mean intimacy and care, or confrontation and rupture. It might mean new visual languages, unexpected aesthetics, or the imagining of other worlds. What matters is urgency and necessity — not genre.
Work can be submitted across all genres including documentary, fashion, fine art, portraiture, and experimental practice. AI-generated works are not eligible. You may submit a series of up to 15 images, a multimedia combination of images and video, and/or a 60-second video trailer.
