PhotoVogue's global open call inviting photographers and video makers to submit bold, urgent work that resists indifference — $12,000 in grants up for grabs.
PhotoVogue's Global Open Call 2026 — Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion — is an invitation to photographers and video makers worldwide to submit work that takes a genuine position in relation to the world as it is.
At a moment when images are produced at unprecedented speed and just as quickly forgotten, PhotoVogue is looking for work that resists that disappearance. Not work that illustrates the world, but work that answers it — with urgency, conviction, and a distinct visual language.
What they're looking for
Across all genres — fashion, documentary, portraiture, fine art, and experimental practice — they want work that carries a strong point of view and a sense of necessity. It might take the form of intimacy, confrontation, rupture, or care. What matters is the force behind it.
Who can apply
Any artist aged 18 or over, anywhere in the world. Submissions are free. If you've previously submitted to a PhotoVogue Open Call, you're encouraged to submit a new project.
