A 3-month paid fellowship in Venice for artists and cultural practitioners, running Sept–Dec 2025 during the Architecture Biennale.
Scuola Piccola Zattere is inviting applications from artists and cultural practitioners — including curators, researchers, architects, choreographers, performers, and writers — for a 3-month fellowship at their non-profit space in Venice, Italy.
The fellowship runs from 22 September to 22 December 2025, coinciding with the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale. This is a unique opportunity to focus on your own research and ongoing projects while connecting with an international artistic community and the rich cultural life of Venice.

Fellows are expected to be present at the studios throughout the fellowship, participate in the institution's activities, contribute proposals for the public programme (workshops, presentations, screenings, seminars, or performance events), and grant reproduction rights for images and texts created during the fellowship.
Eligibility:
The fellowship is open to applicants of any nationality. There is no age limit, though the programme is especially suited to those in the post-academic phase of their careers. A good working knowledge of English is required. Applications from collectives or duos are welcome (the grant and accommodation amounts remain the same).

Submit your application via the form on the Scuola Piccola Zattere website by 11.59 pm (Italy time) on 9 July 2025. Your application should include a motivation letter, updated CV, portfolio, a completed application form, personal data notice, and a copy of valid ID or passport.
