Te Tuhi Studios offers working spaces for visual artists in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland who share Te Tuhi's commitment to critically engaged contemporary art practice. As one of Aotearoa's leading contemporary art organisations, Te Tuhi is known for supporting work that is locally grounded, regionally responsive, and internationally ambitious — with a strong awareness of social, political, and environmental issues.
Studios range from $55/week for an 11m² spot in a shared space, to $120/week for a 24m² private studio. All spaces include a sink with cold water, access to a shared kitchenette, and electricity (standard 240V 10A wall sockets). Accessible studios are available. Note: internet access is not provided.
Tenancies are offered on fixed-term licences — typically one year, though shorter or longer arrangements can be negotiated.
