10-day residency on Jeju Island, South Korea, open to artists worldwide across all disciplines, with stipend and accommodation support.
WeSA invites artists from around the world to apply for a 10-day residency at the WeSA Residency, nestled among the deep forests of Seonheul village on Jeju Island, South Korea.
This open call is for the second half of 2026, with residency periods available between August and December 2026. Exact dates will be arranged in consultation with selected artists, offering some flexibility around your schedule.
The residency is open to artists of all disciplines and career stages — both domestic and international applicants are welcome. Solo artists and collaborative teams may apply.

Artists who go on to develop their residency ideas into a fully realised artwork may also be eligible for additional support through a separate review process.
