The Auckland Festival Trust
Fixed-term full-time role at Auckland Arts Festival building school, community and group audience relationships to drive attendance and ticket sales.
Auckland Arts Festival (AAF) is seeking an Audience Development Coordinator to join their Marketing team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from late October 2026 through to the end of March 2027.
This role is all about growing attendance, engagement, and revenue by building strong relationships with schools, educators, community organisations, cultural communities, access networks, and group audiences. You'll create clear pathways that convert community connections into real attendance and ticket sales — managing group bookings, deepening ties with the education and community sectors, and making sure organised groups have a great experience at the Festival.
AAF is one of Aotearoa's most celebrated arts events — 18 days each March presenting world-class New Zealand and international artists and performers across Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a meaningful role in one of the country's premier cultural events.
The position is based in the AAF's Auckland CBD office. Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand are eligible to apply.
To apply, email your CV and a covering letter to hr@aaf.co.nz by 5:00pm on 16 October 2026. Early applications are encouraged, as interviews may begin before the closing date and the role may close early if the right candidate is found.
